This Again? Hair Myths You Need To Ignore

Friday, August 4, 2017

Hair is something we may or may not pay much attention to. The way you style it, dye it and wear it all together is something special to you. We all have different types of hair, color and length. In the world of hair there has been few myths that I've believed in and after finding out about them I definitely learned a lot about my hair.

SPLIT ENDS
Unfortunately there isn't a product out there that can fix your split ends. Although lots of products claim to do that the only why you can actually get rid of split ends is by cutting your hair. Trimming your hair once in a while is good option.  Only thing you can do is to prevent it by not using heat to often and using products that hydrate your hair.

DANDRUFF
Once in a while I have dandruff. I just hate it as it makes my head itchy. I always thought that dandruff means that you have a dry scalp. Apparently it actually means that you have oily scalp. It can also mean that products that you're using don't suit your scalp. I like to use Head & Shoulders as their shampoo's are really good for getting rid f dandruff's.

GOING OUT WITH WET HAIR
My mom used to always tell me that I shouldn't get out with a wet hair as I'm going to get sick. And I believed her until I heard one day on some doctor tv show that it's actually a myth. Although you won't get cold if you go outside with wet hair, it's actually not a good idea to do it in the winter as it can damage your hair if it's too cold.

PULLING OUT GREY HAIR
I'm not even 20 yet and I already have grey hair. I kind of accepted that as I really don't want to dye my hair. Sometimes I would pull it and whenever I would go to do it someone would say that I shouldn't do that because two more will grow. That isn't true but pulling out grey hair may leave a scar which isn't actually something nice.
