Festive Make Up Look

Wednesday, December 31, 2014

Happy New Year's Eve. Today I wanted to show you makeup look that I'm going to where tonight. I didn't do post like this in a while and I thought that today would be a perfect time for it. It's really simple but festive look. It's perfect for parties and special occasions. Hope you like it!

Base: As I'm going to celebrate New Year's Eve in a hot room full of people and I'm probably going to dance a lot,  I don't want my make up to go anywhere. Before foundation I'm going to use Essence Coverstick. I'll put it underneath my eyes and on my blemishes. I think that it covers perfectly and don't dry my skin. So for the foundation I'm going to use Maybelline Affinimat Foundation. Although I started to use it recently it became one of my favorite foundations. It blends easily and hide imperfections. To set everything I'll use Catrice All Matt Plus- Shine Control Powder. It gives nice finish and control shine.

Cheeks: On a daily bases I like to use more natural pink shades. But as it's more festive occasion I decided to go with more red shade. I'm going to use Essence Silky Touch Blush. This shade is really nice. It's not too dark and it gives nice and healthy look.

Lips: I like red lipsticks but I don't wear them very often. And if I am wearing them it's not very dramatic. I got this beautiful AVON Colortrend lipstick for my birthday and I really like it. It's in such a beautiful pink/red shade. It is creamy, hydrating and makes my lips soft.

Eyes: I think that when it comes to festive eyes one is for sure there must be glitter. You may realize that I love everything natural and that refers to eyes to. I rarely ever where eyeshadows. So as I have to go with something glittery I'm going to go with Rival de Loop Young Lovely Eyes eyeshadow. It haves three really nice and natural glittery shades. First is gold, second is champagne and thirds is brown. I'm going to apply gold shade all over my eyelid and the champagne one on my crease. It really gives nice shimmery look. For eyeliner I'm going to use Essence Eyeliner Pen. And the last I'm going to apply Essence Lash Princes Mascara. I think that no look is complete without mascara. This one gives volume and separates my eyelashes.

This is my last post of this amazing 2014. I hope that you'll have wonderful night and that you'll spend it with people you love. xoxo

Motivational Monday Quote #40

motivational quote

I have a feeling that I'm not living my life in full. It's like I'm scared and something is pulling me back. I think and dream about so much situations that I'm not making any memories. I know that this may sound dramatic because I'm only seventeen and life is in front of me but at the time it's like life is passing by and I'm not even aware of it. I would like to get rid of fear and just enjoy life but it seems that I can't do that. I'm always worrying and over thinking everything. I'm afraid that when I get older and I look back at my life I would see all the chances that I missed and memories that I didn't made. Because after all memories will be the only thing that we'll always have.

We have power to decide how we'll live our life. That scares a crap out of me. How to know which choices are good and which bad? Perhaps with morality and conscience. When I was little I always wanted to be teenage girl. You know having lot of friends, fall crazy in love, travel with my friends just like in every teen movie. But reality isn't like that. That's probably the reason why I love to watch that kind of movies so much. Don't get me wrong I'm thankful for my family, friends ad life in general but I would like to have courage to try new things and step out of my comfort zone. Go on a spontaneous journey to the seaside with my friends, watch starry sky, sing and dance by the fire all night, meet new people and travel. I don't want to read about all that things or watch them in a movies I want to live them.

I'm always waiting for something, for summer, for next day or week. I think that I waited enough. I want to live in the moment and don't want to regret about past or worry about future. I know that some will say that I have time for all that memories making time, but do I really have? Time is unpredictable. Who knows what could happen tomorrow. I don't want to keep saying "I'll do that tomorrow". I'm afraid that I'm going to grow old and don't have chance to do all the things that I want to do. Grown up stuff will get in the way. I'll try my best to enjoy life and not from the beginning of the new year, but from this moment.

YOLO!

Simple Little Things

Sunday, December 28, 2014

It's another Sunday. Beautiful snowy Sunday. We are in that time of the year when I struggle to remember which day it is. But since there is no school I don't mind it. This week included eating, watching a lot of Christmas movies, sleeping and reading. As you can tell it was a perfect week.

♥ So it was my birthday this Tuesday. To be precise at 23rd December. I wasn't free that day because I had to go to school. However  I was happy that I could spend that day with my friends... although it was a tens day. After school my friend and I went on Wiener schnitzel that was so delicious.  Then we went on walk to park and took too many embarrassing selfies.

♥ On Christmas Eve my family and I decorated our Christmas tree. I love that part of Christmas. We all gather around tree and have fun decorating it. This year we decided to go with red and gold ornaments. I think that we did excellent job. This was the first year that we had live tree and the smell of it filled the house.

♥ I had wonderful Christmas day with my family. After opening our presents and breakfast we went to Church. We spend all our afternoon watching movies and eating delicious cakes that my mother and I made. It was fun and chilled day.

I'm so happy that I finally have time for reading for fun. As I said in previous post I missed it so much. Can't wait to finish The "Time Traveler's Wife" and start reading other books that are waiting on my bookshelf. I'll try to read as many books as I can this holidays.

I was so happy when I saw snow falling this morning. Only wish that I had this Christmas was to snow and you don't even know how excited I was when I saw that  everything is white. I'm loving it so much. I think that I'm going to go sledging and have snowball fight tomorrow. I didn't do it for so long.

Which things made you happy this week?

P.S. You could noticed that there is new design of Sweet Passions. I designed header all by myself. Would like to know what you think about it?

Merry Christmas!

Friday, December 26, 2014

First I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope that you had an amazing time. I didn't wont to blog on Christmas Eve and Day. Actually I didn't even been on computer and internet. I wanted to relax and help my family with preparations. You know baking, eating and all that stuff.

Although I was counting to Christmas from the beginning of September it came fast and surprisingly. As I finished with school on 23rd I was concentrated on it.

My family tradition is that we decorate our Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve. It's always such a fun thing to do. Then I help my mum with final preparations. After that at eleven o'clock in the evening we go to Midnight Mass. I love that I can immediately wish Merry Christmas to my family and friends.

I had a beautiful Christmas Day with my family. It would be even more beautiful if it was snowing. We woke up around nine o'clock and opened our presents and have breakfast. After that we got ready for Christmas Mass.  I've spend all afternoon eating and watching Christmas movies.

I remember that as a kid my brother, sister and I would wake up at six o'clock and rush to see what Santa brought to us. Now as we get older and we know the "secret" we like presents...don't get me wrong... but we enjoy more spending time together.

I had amazing surprise this morning when I looked true my window and saw snow. Although it melted by the afternoon I was so happy!

I'm so glad that school is over and that now I have so much more time to relax and just clear my mind.  I'm happy that I finally  have time for reading. I missed it so much. I already started to read "The Time Travelers's Wife" and I must say that I'm really enjoying it.

So yeah I just wanted to wish you all the best. I'm not sure if I'm going to post anything this few days of 2014 but you can always find me on Twitter. xoxo

Favorite Christmas Songs

Wednesday, December 17, 2014

One of my favorite things about Christmas are Christmas songs. They are just so happy and cheerful. There is no better thing than cuddling underneath the blanket, listening Christmas songs and watching snow falling...feeling nostalgic. I have a few songs that I listen to every winter. Everything is better with songs so are the Holidays.

One of my absolutely favorite Christmas song is Shake up Christmas by Train. I can't get bored with this song. I love everything about it, melody,  lyrics , video just everything. I listen it every year and it put me in a Christmasy mood. It's such a magical song.

I'm a big fan of Pentatonix and I think that they are so talented. Last week I heard That's Christmas To Me and I just felt warmth around my heart. I never heard such a heartfelt and peaceful Christmas song. Another song from them that I really like is Mary, Did you Know?

And last is of course Christmas album by Michael Buble. I mean Holidays can't be complete without his songs. On of my favorites are Baby Please Come Home ,  Holly Jolly Christmas and Jingle Bells .

These are the songs that I have on my phone and listen to every day. They made me so happy and excited for Holidays to come. I can't wait to relax and spend some quality time with my family and friends.

Motivational Monday Quote #39

Monday, December 15, 2014

Words are such powerful things. We all know that sometimes words can hurt us more than physical pain. Words can etched into our mind and into our heart. It's such a horrible feeling when somebody says something rude to us.

We say the first thing that comes to our mind. Sometimes we can be the one who says something in anger that can hurt somebody's feelings. Although we didn't mean it in a bad way. Later when we think about what we said we feel bad and the worst thing is that we can't take our words back. We can apologize and that person can after some time forgive us but will she or he forget that words.

In past I've been carried away by feelings and then I said something that I didn't actually mean but in anger I didn't think about the power of my words. And how would other person feel about it. I know that that is not a good thing and now whenever I'm in that kind of situation I just try to calm down. I just think about what I'm going to say next.

I think about how would I feel if somebody said something rude to me and I know that I wouldn't be happy. So it's important to be careful with words and have in mind how we say them because we say to many things we don't mean out of emotions.

Motivational Monday Quote #38

Nobody wants somebody not to like them. It's just in our nature. We want to be accepted and loved. But that is impossible. We are all different and we don't like the same things.

When I was younger I did't really fit in. I was shy and I didn't have a lot of friends. Last year I realized why it was like that. I wasn't myself. I felt bad if somebody didn't like me.

Then I just decided that I'll be myself and if somebody don't like me it's fine. Now I have  friends such a amazing friends and I can't imagine my life withouth them. Best thing is that I can be myself around them and they like me because that.

So just remember that ther are people that will love you for who you are and not for who you think you should be.

Simple Little Things

I wish that I took this photo but I'm not that lucky. It's from Tumblr.

I have a thing that when I really like something I'll watch it all day. That's what happened with X Factor auditions videos. I watched it all week every day. I just couldn't believe that there are so many talented people. Listening to some of them I got goose bumps. It's crazy.

Other things that I've been listening this week are Christmas songs. I mean who haven't been. I really love Michael Buble Christmas album. I'm listening to it right now... Have yourself a merry little Christmas Night

I reach 100 bloglovin followers. I almost screamed when I saw it. You can't even imagine how happy and grateful I am that someone wants to read my sweet passions..see what I did there hehe. I'm really thankful to everyone of you who take a little of your time and stop and read my posts. It means a world to me.

Been obsessed with Tumblr. There are so many beautiful winter pictures. As I love everything vintage it's the same with images. Looking  at winter and Christmas images on Tumbler make me so happy and in Christmas spirit.

I decorated all my room and house with Christmas decorations. It looks so pretty. My mum and I are like to get in Christmas mood very early. I put some of decorations at the end of November but don't tell anyone.

I was so happy when I saw that they put Christmas three on the street of my nearby city. It is so big and pretty. I love seeing everybody's putting fairy lights and Christmas decorations on their houses.

Which things made you happy this week?

 ;)

Motivational Monday Quote #37

Monday, December 1, 2014

Sometimes I find myself doubting my decisions or my dreams.  I feel like maybe I'm not that strong or smart to accomplish that. Like I'm not good enough. It can really bust my self-esteem. I think that that was going on in my life couple of week ago. I just felt like I'm doing something wrong.

But I realize that I can't be the one who will  allow doubts to ruin my dreams. It's something that no one should allow to happen. Because if we don't believe in ourselves, who will? We need to have faith in our skills and abilities.

When we fail we find strength and motivation to move forward. It can make us stronger. But  doubt can make us give up on our dreams and force us to accept things that are under our capabilitiesToo much doubt can stop us living our lives to the full.

Never let doubt to kill your dreams. Believe in yourself and your dreams. Don't let anything or anyone to stop you on your way to the goals. Focus on what you really wont and you'll get it.

 ;)
