Here's How Staying At Home Changed What I Think About Fitness

Wednesday, August 26, 2020

How's your fitness been since the global pandemic started?

I noticed that a lot of people who were gym enthusiasts stopped working out and those who used to despite exercising started to do it regularly. Staying at home most of the time really has some advantages and disadvantages. Staying fit and healthy when you can't really move outside of your home can be challenging.

Body Confidence Doesn't Happen Overnight But Here Are 4 Ways To Speed The Process

Tuesday, August 18, 2020

Body confidence is something we are born with but lost along the way. From a young age, we are unconsciously or consciously pressured to look a certain way. Adolescence is the age when our body started to change and when we started to compare ourselves to women on the covers.

The more we compared ourselves the more we forgot how beautiful we are. Social pressure to have the "perfect body" only made us feel worse in our own skin, but for how long? Well, that is all on you. Body confidence is something we need to work on, and now is the best time for it.

Feeling Bored? Listen To One Of These 4 Podcasts

Monday, July 27, 2020

Podcasts have been around for quite some time now. It seems like each day there is a new one up. Sometimes it can be quite overwhelming to dive into the podcast world. If you still haven't been lucky enough to find the perfect podcast for you, don't worry it does take time. I've been falling in and out of love with podcasts for years.

I'm always on the mission to find the ones that I enjoy the most and the majority of the time those kinds of podcasts aren't famous and not a lot of people talk about them. That's why I wanted to share with you the podcast gems I've found in the last couple of months.

You Want To Make A Difference? Here's How You Can Do It

Friday, July 24, 2020

There is this misconception about what "making a difference" really means. Most people think that to make a difference you need to find a cure for a disease or make billions of dollars. Although those things definitely make a difference, that doesn't mean that they are the only ways to do so. There are different categories of making a difference, you can make a difference in your own personal life, business life, and on a bigger scale.

Each of these categories has a meaning and should not be taken for granted. Most of us start to feel disappointed as we know that we are probably not going to be able to impact a lot of people and make a change in that way. This discourages us and keeps us from realizing that there are other ways we can make an impact. We don't realize that when we try to make a difference with our own abilities, together we can make a big change.

I'm sure that we all went through a lot of ups and downs and learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way. Here are some of the lessons I've learned during social-distancing.

4 Simple Ways To Find Balance In Life

Tuesday, June 2, 2020

Finding balance in life is a mission that takes time and patience. The thing about balance is that you can have it in one part of your life but not in another one. It also means that not having balance in one area can lead to not having balance in different ones. While some find it hard to balance personal life and work, others have a hard time balancing pleasure and pain.

So how to get closer to finding balance in all parts of our life?

Tips On Surviving Self-Isolation While Living With Others

Tuesday, April 21, 2020

Self-isolation is challenging as it is, but when you are spending 24/7 with your family or roommates, it can get even more interesting. It doesn't matter if you have an amazing relationship with the people you live with or not. We are all different and we all need our personal space but also a time when we want to hang out with others. Sometimes those two parts can clash with others and when you want to hang someone else might want to be by themselves. In that kind of situation, the tension can rise and with that, we can say or act rashly.  Living with four other family members, I decided to share with you my tips on surviving self-isolation with others.

3 Things That Are Making Me Inspired At The Moment

Thursday, April 16, 2020

I don't want to jinx myself but I don't remember the last time I felt this inspired. I've been creating content that I feel very proud of and it is making me very happy. I used to struggle with consistent posting which those who follow me for a long time probably know. I'm not really good at focusing on multiple important things at the time. I'm a student so balancing uni and blog can sometimes get a little bit hectic. With the current situation and social distancing, I finally found the balance between the two. Here are some of the things that made me inspired to create new content and to be consistent.

Dealing With Negative Thoughts & Emotions

Tuesday, April 14, 2020

Now more than ever it is easy to fall in the negative circle of thoughts. Spending so much time indoors in space that sometimes feels like it is getting smaller and smaller as the days pass, it is not so strange to start to feel nervous, anxious and sad. Social media can be such a great way to escape but it can also bring self-doubt and pity (when it seems like you are the only one not making dalgona coffee, banana bread and playing animal crossing). As normal as it is to feel sad, annoyed and anxious once in a while, wouldn't it just be better to feel happy, cheerful and hopeful once again?

Ways To Calm Your Travel Bug Until Next Adventure

Thursday, April 9, 2020

Most of us probably haven't been on a trip for a few months now. It seems like it is going to be like that for quite some time. Those who are big travel addicts are probably having a hard time. That is totally understandable given the situation we are in. Although we should all stay at home and with that make chances to finally go on a trip much bigger, there are some ways you can calm your travel bug a little bit longer.

Get Active At Home - Money & Excuse Free Of Charge

Tuesday, April 7, 2020

There are two types of people, those who are "die-hard workout enthusiasts" and those who are "I workout because that's the only way to get a healthy body" type. It doesn't matter which description feels most relatable to you, you are both sentenced to actually getting up and working out. Some of you probably prefer working in a gym or doing group workouts which unfortunately isn't possible anymore.

Others love to work in the comfort of their home so they find it a little bit easier to get active without leaving their homes. For those who struggle with working whatsoever and this current situation isn't really helping them out, I decided to share with you some ways you can workout for home and for free right now.

Mini Habits That Will Make You Fall In Love With Your Daily Life

Thursday, April 2, 2020

The biggest changes in your life don't need to be extra. Sometimes to see that positive change in your everyday life all you need is implementing mini habits. Those are the things that we usually overlook. We might do them once in a while without realizing how much benefit they would bring to us only if we started doing them more regularly.

The ones that I am going to write about in this post are super simple and easy to do. Some of them are probably already part of your every day but some are maybe not. There are, of course, a thousand more that you could start doing but I decided to share only these 5.
