5 Creative Activities You Can Do At Home

Tuesday, May 12, 2020

It is easy to get sucked into the monotony of everyday life. Days just feel black and white. What we all need is a little bit of color. We forget about all the activities that can free our creativity and make our lives much more colorful. No, you don't need to go to a ceramic class or pay to learn how to paint. There are so many creative activities you can do in the comfort of your home and with that for free. You probably already have all you need to start just purely having fun while creating something beautiful. So leave whatever you are doing now and just pick one or a few of these things and take some time to create.

Colorful Origami Butterflies

Monday, May 1, 2017

I love to make little cute things with my hands. I remember doing origami in a primary school and how much I loved it. I find it so amazing how many incredible things you can do with just paper. I learned how to make the cutest butterflies and wanted to share it with you.

Homemade Christmas Wreath

Monday, November 28, 2016

I like getting crafty and make things with my own bare hands. It was like that from when I was just a little girl. I think I got it from my mom because she is quite creative as well.  This is one of my favorite ways to let my creativity out. My favorite kind of crafts to do are definitely Christmas related ones. Just making them puts me in such a good and festive mood.

Cute Rope Vase

Monday, August 8, 2016

I love flowers and sunflowers are my favorite kind. I realized that I don’t have any cute little vase that I could put it in so I decided to go on Pinterest and find some ideas. I changed it a little bit and used white rope. It’s pretty explanatory how I did it but I’m going to tell you anyway.

Wood Block Art

Tuesday, April 19, 2016

I was looking at my walls the other day and they seemed very empty and boring. I decided to give them a little bit of life and a pop of color. I had this craft pinned in my Projects To Try board for so long. I was so happy when I finally gathered all of the materials and started making it.

Marble Easter Eggs

Wednesday, March 23, 2016

It feels like I've been decorating my Christmas tree last week and now it's time for Easter Eggs. It’s crazy how fast time is going. Every year I try to find new ways to decorate my Easter Eggs. Last year I did it with sharpies and this year I decided that I want to make them look marble. I think that this is such a cute idea and it’s really simple and fast.

Tips To Make Your Flowers Live Longer

Wednesday, March 2, 2016

Spring is just around the corner and best way to welcome it is with a nice bouquet of flowers. Roses, cyclamen, hydrangeas and tulips. There is so many beautiful flowers that every room make so much more calm and peaceful. Only thing that makes me sad when it comes to flowers is when they are dying. I just want them to bloom forever. Although that's not possible I have few tips to make them bloom a little bit longer.

{diy} Autumn Banner

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

Couple of weeks ago I was scrolling through Pinterest for some simple Autumn DIY's. I run into this cute Banner one. I thought that this would be perfect for my room. I didn't do exactly as it was explained on the site. I adjusted it so that I could make it faster and easier but equally beautiful.

♥ So the first thing that I did was drawing a pennant on paper. In size that I wanted them to be. I wanted them to be smaller. Then I cut it out. You can found them free online if you don't want to draw them.

Then I found the old clothes that I no longer used. I find pattern that I liked and held the paper pennant on it and cut it out. Do it slowly because it's not easy to cut cloth. I used just two patterns but you can use as many as you like.

After that I ironed them so that they are not wrinkled. Now iron down your top to create the flap. Repeat that with all of your patterns.

♥ I cut a length of jute rope and arranged them. I put a little bit of glue so that it holds firm.

Now you just need to find place to hang them. I think that it looks really cute above my bed. I hope that you liked this diy and that you'll try it out. If you do be sure to send me your pictures on my Twitter.

Light Bulb Vase!

Wednesday, April 9, 2014

So two weeks ago i put Projects to Try post, and I didn't include this DIY project. The reason that I didn't include it is because I thought that this DIY is too hart to made. But I was wrong. Although I did need my dads help it was done in 15 minutes.
If you'r asking yourself " How can I do it?" well i will tell you!:D

First find some light bulbs that don't work any more or you don't need it.
Then carefully peel off or drill black of the light bulb. I could not peel it off so I gave it to my dad to drill it and then I took it out. Just be careful and put the goggles.
You will see glass in it. You need to crack it. When you crack glass remove inner wires of the light bulb.
Now fun part. Fill light bulb with water and put flower in it. You can tie the bulb with ribbon and attach it to branch or you can make stand. My dad made a little dent in the wooden plate to be stable.

This is photo that help me do it. It's from Pinterest!

I think that this is so unique and beautiful project, and that it make your room more into Spring. Why would you put your flowers in plain vase when you can put it in light bulbs. :)
