Walnut and Apple Cake

Monday, May 8, 2017

When I think about one cake that I absolutely loved as a little girl and still enjoy it now so much, it’s definitely this one. The reason why it’s so special to me is because my mom would always bake it on my birthday. It’s so delicious and unbelievable easy to do.

The biscuit is so soft and light and the chocolate glaze complete all the tastes.
It’s done in 30 minutes. You don’t need to measure anything. Just grab a mug and you are ready to start baking.

INGREDIENTS

                            BISCUIT                                                                     GLAZE

2 eggs                                                                  10 dag of chocolate
1 mug of milk                                                          2 tablespoons of sugar
1 mug of grated apples                                          4 tablespoons of hot water
                      1 mug of grits
                      1 mug of sugar
                     half a mug of oil
                     1 mug of walnuts
                      baking powder

PREPARATION
  • First we are going to mix wet ingredients. Mix eggs, milk and oil in one bowl. Then mix together all the dry ones. Gris, sugar, walnuts and baking powder. Combine mixture from the first bowl with the one in the second. Then add apples but mix them lightly with a spatula.
  • Put a little bit of oil in the pan and sprinkle with flour so that it won’t stick. Pour mixture in the pan and put in the preheated oven on 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Check if the biscuit is done with a toothpick. If it goes out clean then it’s over.
  • Now melt chocolate with sugar and hot water. Pour it over the warm biscuit and even it out. Put the cake in the freezer and wait for chocolate to cool down.

This cake is so tasty and light. Just perfect for Summer days or any kind of day in that case. I really hope that you're going to try it out an love it as much as I do.

What is your favorite childhood cake?
