I was always more of a giver than a receiver. I like
to go gift shopping although I’m sure that who ever goes with me isn’t really
happy because it takes me so long to find that perfect gift for the person I
love. So I decided that I’m going to make at least one gift by myself for my family
members and friends.
So today’s do it yourself project is little toilet paper roll boxes. It’s super cute and easy to do. I'm going to put little bits and bobs in it. I think that it's going to look so pretty underneath Christmas tree especially if you have a little one.
Materials you're going to need
are toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls, paint, paint brush, scissors,
ribbon, twines or any other thing whit which you’re going to decorate your
boxes.
The first thing you’re going to do
is pushing in one end of the paper roll and then the other end. You need to do that so you can close it. Repeat
that on the other side of the toilet roll. Open the ends and paint the outside
with paint. You can use whatever color you like. I thought that this dark blue
one is pretty. You can paint two coats for better finish. When you painted it
leave it to dry. Add ribbon, twine and little gift tag and put the little gift in
it.
I think that this is perfect little sign of love and care for other people. Of course you can just wrap present in wrapping paper but I honestly think that this looks cuter.
