Perfect Chocolate Cookies

I love to bake. It's one of my favorite things to do....beside eating. One of my favorite things to bake are definitely cookies. I'm always trying new recipes and styles. Few weeks ago I found this one and I love it. It's so easy to make when you have guests coming by or if you just feel like eating cookies. Basically there is no bad reason to bake cookies. This ones are soft on the outside and gooey on the inside and filled with chocolate. When you eat them the chocolate would be melt in them.

You'll need 200g of backing butter, 1 large egg, 75g of cocoa powder, 250g of caster sugar, 275g of self-raising flour, chocolate (you can use whatever chocolate you want and as much as you want)

Leave you're butter in a warm room or put it in a microwave for a little bit because it needs to be soft. Put it in the bowl with 250g of caster sugar, Mix it with electric whisk or a wooden spoon. I just used a wooden spoon...it's actually a good arm workout hehe. You need to mix it until it's smooth. Crack an egg and mix it again. Now you should trow your dry ingredients. So the 200g of self raising flour.

Put it little bit at a time just so its not as difficult to mix it in. In next part you can separate half of the dough and put cocoa powder in it, put cocoa powder in hole dough or don't put it at all. So you can as you like. I decided to separate it and put cocoa in half of a dough. Then break up some chocolate and put it in the mixture. You can put milk, white or dark chocolate.

Line trays with baking paper and put balls of dough on it. Again you can put as big or small as you want. I went for medium ones. Now pop in the preheated oven at 180-200 degrees. It depends on what kind of oven you have. Bake it four around 10 minutes. When you take them out of the oven they will be soft so you need to put them to cool down for half and hour. After 30 minutes they will be ready to eat.

You can always change it a little bit. I actually put tea spoon of honey to give it more sweetness. I hope that you enjoyed this recipe. If you try it out be sure to send me photo and tell me your opinions.

What is your favorite kind of cookie?
