Garnier Skin Naturals Hyaluronic Aloe Gel Review

Monday, November 8, 2021

It is an understatement to say that this year, I took skincare seriously. I look at it as a form of self-care. It makes me happy, and I enjoy sharing my favorite skincare products with all of you. Garnier is a skincare brand that you had a chance to read about quite often. One of the reasons for that is that Garnier is kind enough to send me their products to try.

Another reason is that Garnier has been one of my favorite drugstore skincare brands since I was little. I remember my mom always using their creams and masks. She passed the love for Garnier's skincare, body care, and hair care products to me as well. Today's star of the post is Garnier Skin Naturals Hyaluronic Aloe Gel. It is another product from their hyaluronic collection.

Many call hyaluronic acid molecules "magical" because of the wide range of benefits and how it affects our body and skin. What you might not know is that we can find it naturally in the human body. It is found in larger quantities between skin cells where it provides moisture, firmness, and suppleness to the skin. It also ensures quicker healing and regeneration of the skin.

The reason for this is the ability of hyaluronic acid to bind moisture to itself and thus keep the skin "plump", hydrated and fresh. As we get old we lose some of the hyaluronic acids. It can manifest in the loss of hydration, skin elasticity, formation of wrinkles, and sagging skin around the eyes and mouth.

Garnier Skin Naturals Hyaluronic Aloe Gel

In the past, I tried Garnier Hyaluronic Aloe Foam which made my skin super clean. Garnier Skin Naturals Hyaluronic Aloe Gel does the same thing but feels different than the foam. These two products have a lot in common, but at the same time, each product is individually beneficial. Both should be used no more than twice a day. Preferably in the morning to rinse the greasy layer that came out of the pores overnight and prepare for further procedures. In the evening to remove makeup residue, dust, and other harmful contaminants.

This is one of the best ways to avoid acne and breakouts. Because it disinfects the skin, it neutralizes harmful bacteria that cause skin inflammation. In addition, it makes the pores less visible. That helps in stopping the excess fat and the pores will not clog. When our pores are clogged it causes an unpleasant rash. Thanks to various useful additives, the epidermis will get the essential hydration and nutrition.

Garnier Skin Naturals Hyaluronic Aloe Gel has the texture and appearance of liquid jelly. You will get 200ml of product in a plastic bottle with a pump. I prefer skincare products that have a pump as it is easier to regulate how much product you want to use. I noticed that just one pump is good enough to wash my whole face.

It gently washes away the remains of makeups and oily secretions.  On the other hand, it moisturizes the surface layer of the skin. It incorporates beneficial active substances and various nutrients that help the skin to keep moisture. When I pump it on my hand, I gently emulsify it for several seconds. That way, I know it will spread and cleanse my skin evenly.

This gel is suitable for all skin types, even for those who have sensitive skin. It does not contain animal fats, and in contrast, has valuable vitamins and ingredients. It reduces redness and increases the body's natural ability to regenerate and thus eliminate tiny wounds. It also gently exfoliates the firm layers of cells and causes them to regenerate.

Garnier Skin Naturals Hyaluronic Aloe Gel is a great product to include in your morning or nighttime skincare routine. It can help you get rid of the access makeup and dirt from the surface layer of the skin, and the pores.

It is essential to include both gel and foam cleansers. Due to the more aggressive cleaning system, frequent use of foam can lead to disturbances in the balance of water and grease, which will not have very pleasant consequences. It is important not to overuse either of these products daily.
