Are you looking for new skincare products to try?

You are at the right place as I'm sharing with you 5 different Olival products I've been trying for the past couple of months. If you've been following me for a while then you know how much I love natural and cruelty-free skincare products. It always makes me happy to see that skincare brands are mindful of the environment and try to make their products as natural as they can.

ABOUT OLIVAL

OLIVAL is a Croatian company that has been declared as a natural cosmetic and has been operating and producing skincare products on a natural basis for 23 years. All products are made according to their formulations using raw materials of natural origin and are created in a well-organized, small production plant in the western part of Zagreb (the capital city of Croatia). Olival Cosmetics has developed old pharmaceutical recipes, natural ingredients, and new knowledge in cosmetology and technology.

OLIVAL EXTRA MOISTURIZING CREAM IMMORTELLE

Extra moisturizing cream with immortelle oil is designed for normal, dry, and sensitive skin. It moisturizes, nourishes, and deeply feeds the skin with high-quality jojoba and wheat germ oils. Carrot and lemon balm oils tone the skin. The main active ingredient: immortelle essential oil encourages regeneration and prevents the formation of wrinkles. It is instantly absorbed, and after application, the skin is pleasantly smooth, silky, and taut.

The cream is best applied in the morning after washing, and the effect lasts almost all day. I am very satisfied with this cream and it completely suits my skin type. I have a combined skin type which makes it hard to find a cream that is not overly hydrate but also which can help me get rid of the dry patches. After using this cream for a little over a month in my morning routine, my face is visibly nourished and looks healthy.

OLIVAL NOURISHING MASK IMMORTELLE

The mask has the texture of a thicker cream. It spreads extremely easily on the face. The smell of immortelle is noticeable but it is not irritating. It is white-greenish in color and has tiny darker grains that normally smudge and become invisible. It contains honey, chamomile, and green clay. Honey is there to restore the skin, chamomile to soothe it and alleviate damage, and green clay that exfoliates dead cells and tightens the surface layer of the skin. The essential oil tones the skin and prevents the formation of wrinkles.

In my opinion, this mask does the job great. It nourishes the skin, makes it soft, and leaves it with a nice “glow”. I use it at least once a week as that is recommended. As I said, the texture is a thicker cream and it is the same on the face, it does not dry and does not tighten the skin. Just rinse it off with lukewarm water and that’s it. It stays in my skincare routine lineup and I believe it will stay there for a very long time.

OLIVAL NUTRITIOUS PEELING IMMORTELLE

The Olival Nutririous Peeling Immortelle is milky white with brown grains. Its scent is specific, immortelle scent is dominating but there is also a slight smell of apricot. I am quite sensitive to scents but this one is very light and not irritating at all. This peeling's texture is rich, dense, and spreads easily. The grains are of different sizes. I have sensitive skin so I recommend gently using this peeling so that you don't damage your skin. I find this scrub to be ideal for normal, combination, and oily skin.

The peel contains a lot of grains that I said are medium rough. I like that it has a lot of grains because I don’t like those scrubs where I have to grab grains to clean my face. In addition to having a lot of grains, its texture is rich and glides nicely on the skin, and when you wash it, you have the feeling that your skin is clean from all the dead skin and bacteria. After using it, my skin is completely cleansed and a little red, which is a sign of blood circulation. The redness recedes quickly. After use, I apply Olival Extra Moisturizing Cream Immortelle. Therefore, it is necessary to nourish the skin well after peeling.

OLIVAL MICELLAR GEL IMMORTELLE

The micellar gel is very gentle on the skin, it comes in a gel form, it is transparent and in contact with water, it turns into a mild emulsion, which does not foam but is like a mild milk emulsion. It glides beautifully on the skin and cleanses it of impurities, which accumulate throughout the day. As it is extremely mild, I would advise you to reach for a stronger cleanser from time to time if you use sunscreen, primers, and thick and heavy makeup daily.

In my opinion, Olival micellar gel is great for daily washing, as the last step in the skin cleansing routine. As for removing makeup, I would not recommend you to remove it only with this gel because it is not strong enough to remove all makeup from the face. Although it is good enough if you are not applying a heavy makeup look. It is best to use it after removing makeup, as the last step of cleansing the skin. After use, the skin is clean, fresh, and very soft. Have in mind that this micellar gel is intended for the use of mixed and oily skin. I have combined skin that has more dry patches in the wintertime and noticed that after the first few washes it made my dry areas peal. It goes away after I apply Olival Extra Moisturizing Cream Immortelle so I don't mind it.

OLIVAL MOISTURIZING CREAM FOR HANDS AND NAILS WITH CALENDULA

Moisturizing hand and nail cream with calendula repairs damaged skin and nails, and because of its therapeutic properties, the calendula plant has been used since ancient times. The cream contains vitamin E, an important antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and slows down cell aging. It quickly absorbs and hydrates dry skin, and the result is gentle and soft hands and stronger and better quality nails.

I apply this Olival hand cream during the day because it is lighter and absorbs faster. Immediately after the first application, the hands are smoother, and to maintain them as such, of course, I apply it regularly. This product is also intended to strengthen nails. I didn't notice any difference in that regard, because my nails are in pretty good condition, but the overall look of my hands is better.
