Minimal Budget-Friendly Summer Nighttime Skincare Routine

Friday, July 23, 2021

To be completely honest with you, I can get so lazy when it comes to skincare. That mostly happens in the Summer when I'm always going places. At the end of the day, all I want is to lay in my bed and fall asleep. Nevertheless, skincare is still something I enjoy but I adjust it to myself. For my nighttime skincare routine, I like to keep it minimal yet effective. I'm always using products that I trust and have seen benefits in using.

Some of the products mentioned are an original "cast" of my skincare routines. As someone who has sensitive and combination skin, I like to play it safe. I am constantly learning about my skin and how I can properly take care of it. Here are 5 of the skincare products that I use in my minimal summer skincare routine.

MY 5 STEP SUMMER NIGHTTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE

I start my nighttime skincare routine by removing all of my makeup and dirt from my face. I am using Garnier Micellar water from the Hyaluronic Aloe line. I've been using it for a couple of months now and I love it. This micellar water removes impurities on the skin and returns its freshness in just one movement. I was impressed when I first tried to remove my eye makeup with this micellar water. You can feel all the layers of dirt and dust coming off. The micellar water is enhanced with hyaluronic acid. It is hydrating, softening, toning, and restoring skin barriers. Intense hydration renews skin and gives radiance. Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and nutritious impacts on the skin.

The next step in my minimal nighttime skincare routine is the cleanser. Garnier Hyaluronic Aloe Foam is the one I'm currently using and enjoying. It cleanses, smoothes, and revitalizes the skin. It is suitable for all skin types. I have a combination skin type, and I haven't had any inflammation, dehydrated spots, or excess oiliness. It gently cleanses and restores smoothness and gives a glow to the skin. Garnier Hyaluronic Aloe Foam Facial Wash Foam contains organic aloe vera from renewable origins and is dermatologically certified.

After I made sure that my skin is clean I apply toner. This Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner is my all-time favorite toner. What I love about it the most is the fact that it doesn't matter if you are applying it with a cotton pad or your hands, it absorbs in a few seconds. Klairs Toner helps to prepare skin to absorb serums better. It removes any remaining dirt and sebum using amino acids and ingredients like licorice root extract and aloe leaf essence to soothe any inflammation.

The serum I use is Biomed Aqua Detox Serum. It has a gentle natural scent that goes away once you apply it. My skin absorbed it so quickly and immediately made it much more hydrated. This serum is made to prevent irritation, control acne breakouts, and decrease the presence of impurities. It makes my skin look more awake, even-toned, and softer. Biomed Aqua Detox Serum also helps to diminish scars, smooth texture, and lighten complexion. I am all for products that absorb quickly and make my skin smoother and more radiant. Only one pump is enough for hydrated skin.

Last but not least we have Klairs Vitamin E Mask. Summer weather can be very harsh on the skin. Especially if you are on Summer vacation and enjoying your time at the beach or pool. I spend a lot of time outside so the sun sometimes leaves dark spots on my face and causes wrinkles. This Vitamin E Mask helps my skin to recover faster and makes my skin bright and fresh. I'm one of those people who have different pigmentations and this mask helped me to equalize my skin pigmentation. If you apply it as a part of your night skincare routine you will be able to see the difference.
