Getting That Natural Look

Wednesday, July 5, 2017

I love makeup and getting ready but I always lean towards more soft and natural looks. I don't like full coverage as it's just not who I am. For some getting natural look can be quite hard so I'm bringing you may tips for perfect natural look.

LESS IS MORE
I like to have this in mind with everything I'm doing. It's not different with applying makeup. If you are used to doing full on glamorous makeup looks then it might be natural for you to go all in. But if you want to go for natural look than you need to do everything much softer. For example choose nude shades for your eyes and blend them in for a seamless but beautiful eye look. Replace thick black eyeliner with brown pencil.

HIGHLIGHT THE VIRTUES
This is something that I find to be very important. Whit natural look you want to emphasize areas that you find most beautiful about yourself. It might be your eyes, lips or cheeks. If you have more than one feature that you love , and I'm sure that you do, then in my opinion it's best to choose maximum two of them. Because if you try to highlight all of them you may go to that full on look.

KEEP IT FRESH
Some may think that natural makeup is boring but I would definitely disagree. You can easily play around with it and make it your own. Natural doesn't mean naked. There is so many products to help you get that fresh and beautiful look but still keep your skin feeling light and natural. At least every other day try to replace one product with another one. Let your skin breath and try to use makeup products that are natural and cruelty free.

FEEL CONFIDENT
I can't stress this enough. You can be barefaced and still look beautiful if not even more beautiful. Makeup is here to help you accent your beauty and not to hide it. As I already said in my Feel Good With No Makeup post if you look confident and just own it even if you have a bad skin day or just feel blah you're going to radiate with positive energy and that will make you and other feel happy.
