Simple Morning Skincare Routine for Dry Skin

If you struggle with dry or combination skin that occasionally throws a dry, dull tantrum at you, then you're in the right place. ‍I've been experiencing dry patches and dullness and have been testing some products to find the morning skincare routine that will make my skin hydrated but also give it back some life. All of the products mentioned in this blog post are from Korean brands and I've been using them for at least 3 weeks. You can get all of them at Stylevana and I have a discount code you can find at the end of the post.

As I already mentioned, today I'm sharing my go-to morning routine for dry-ish combo skin – a simple 6-step process that hydrates without feeling heavy, leaving me prepped and glowy for the day ahead. ✨

APLB – Glutathione Niacinamide Facial Cleanser

Step 1: Gentle Cleanse (APLB – Glutathione Niacinamide Facial Cleanser)

I start with a gentle cleanser. Cleansing is one of the most important parts of any skincare routine but it can also be the most damaging if you do it wrong. Harsh formulas can strip your skin, so the APLB Glutathione Niacinamide Facial Cleanser is perfect. It removes impurities without leaving a tight feeling, and the added niacinamide helps keep things bright. Like most cleansers, it does get rid of some of the natural oils your skin produces but to give your skin that moisture back we head to the next step.

Anua – Birch Moisture Boosting Pad

Step 2: Exfoliation Boost (Anua – Birch Moisture Boosting Pad)

A couple of times a week, I like to add a little extra exfoliation with the Anua Birch Moisture Boosting Pad. These gentle pads have a slightly textured side that helps buff away dead skin cells, while the other side is soaked in a hydrating essence to keep things balanced. Be sure that you are gentle when you use these toner pads. The reason behind that is that any unnecessary thuging of the skin can damage it.

ROUND LAB – 1025 Dokdo Toner

Step 3: Lightweight Hydration (ROUND LAB – 1025 Dokdo Toner)

Next comes hydration which our skin needs the most! The ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Toner is my absolute fave for light but effective hydration. This lightweight toner is packed with deep seawater minerals and hyaluronic acid, giving my skin a nice plump without feeling greasy. It's perfect for those mornings when I want a quick hydration boost. I also love that you can easily layer it for extra hydration. P.S. This is one of the cheapest Korean toners so don't walk, run to the Stylevana website.

Step 4: Vitamin Power (Dear, Klairs – Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop)

Now let's add some vitamins! The Dear, Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop is a lightweight serum with vitamin C to brighten and even out my skin tone. A few drops go a long way, and it absorbs like a dream. I've tried a lot of different Vitamin C serums and this one is my favorite. In case you are allergic to or don't like the heavier feeling that vitamin C serums can have, I recommend trying Skin1004 Brightening Ampoule.

Step 5: Soothe & Hydrate (iUNIK – Centella Calming Gel Cream)

For ultimate moisture, I love the iUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream. This lightweight gel cream is packed with centella asiatica, which is known for its calming and soothing properties. As someone with sensitive skin prone to redness, I like how this cream makes my skin look and feel. It keeps my skin hydrated without feeling heavy, perfect for dry and combination skin.

Dr. Ceuracle – Hyal Reyouth Moist Sun

Step 6: Sun Protection (Dr. Ceuracle – Hyal Reyouth Moist Sun)

No morning routine is complete without sunscreen! The Dr. Ceuracle Hyal Reyouth Moist Sun is a lightweight, SPF 50+ sunscreen that protects my skin without leaving a white cast. It feels super comfortable on my skin, which is a major win. It has a very liquidy texture that absorbs immediately.

Bonus Tip: If my skin is feeling extra dry, I might add a couple of drops of facial oil after my moisturizer. Just remember, a little goes a long way!

This simple 6-step routine takes about 5 minutes and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, balanced, and ready to take on the day. Looking to snag these amazing products for yourself? The best part?
