Morning Rituals That'll Make Your Whole Day A Lot Better

Starting your day on the right note is always important. I don’t know about you but for me it sets the mood for the whole day. That’s why I think that having the right rituals is a great way to make it even better. Changing few things can have such a big impact for your entire day.

STRETCH
Waking up and having a good morning stretch just feels great. It’s called a sun salutation as you’re really opening for the new day. You can do your own little stretches that feel the most comfortable to you or you can do some morning Yoga. There are so many amazing Yoga YouTube videos that are so easy to do and take only 10 minutes or less. You’ll definitely feel much better and awake after doing them. I find that meditation is a great stretch for your whole body but especially for your mind. Take a few moments to take some deep breathes and if you want to you can say some affirmations for the positive and happy day ahead of you.

POWER CLEAN
After you are little bit more awake because of your stretch now is time to clean your surroundings a little bit. Make your bed, clean your bed side table, fold or hang any clothes around your bedroom, put away any other thing that isn’t in its place. You can do it all in one morning or separate those tasks on each day of the week. There is nothing better than leaving your home when you know that everything is organized and clean. It sets a great vibe for the whole day. As the name says it’ll give you power to deal with more difficult tasks as your mind will be set on productivity.

STAY OFFLINE
Try to stay offline at least for 30 minutes after you woke up. I know that it can be quite difficult, especially if you are a blogger or youtuber and your work includes all the social media. I like to disconnect before I go to bed so that if I get any notification it won’t wake me up. So I leave it disconnected in the morning as well. It really helps you to stay focused and not overwhelmed with a lot of different information’s early in the morning from which most of them are irrelevant but stay in your mind.

WRITE
Dedicate 10 minutes for writing. It doesn’t need to be anything extra. You can maybe write your to do list or write how you want to spend your day. Review your goals and see which ones you can maybe accomplish today. If you like to bullet journal you can write something down in it. I know that lot of people like to write their dream which is a great idea. You can read it later and see any dreams that repeat and learn what they mean.

Do you have any morning rituals?
When do you wake up?
