7 Skincare Products I'm Excited To Try In 2021

Monday, February 22, 2021

There are new skincare releases almost every day. As amazing as that can be, it is also quite overwhelming. I am the type of person that likes to try and finish one product at a time. Because of that, I'm sometimes missing out on some amazing skincare products.

Thanks to the amazing skincare bloggers and Instagrammers I can easily be up to date with new amazing products. This year I want to invest more time and money in taking care of my skin. I made a list of 7 skincare products I am excited to try this year.

7 SKINCARE PRODUCTS I WANT TO TRY IN 2021

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner

First of all, we have fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner. It is known for hydration and leaving no residue of makeup or other impurities behind. It is supposed to reduce pores which is something that I need. One of the ingredients is hyaluronic acid and rose oil which nourishes and hydrates the skin. I've tried a few toners and for now, Klairs toner is my favorite one.

First Aid Beauty The Ultra Repair Cream

This product is known for treating dry patches. It can be used as a normal moisturizer or even body lotion.  I usually like shea butter which this contains so I'm excited to try it.  There is also a big jar version of this cream but I think that getting a tube one is much more convenient. Just more comfortable to use and less chance to make a mess.

I've heard so many amazing things about Honest Beauty as a brand and its products. One product that caught my attention is Calm+Heal Melting balm. This balm is enhanced with Allantoin, Mondo Grass, and their Calming Phyto-Blend™. It has 0.5% of Allantoin which is a skin protectant that’s perfect for dry skin. It is supposed to have a  slightly whisked texture that softens down fast, absorbs into the skin without leaving residue, and makes skin look dewy.

Cosrx is one of the brands I've been wanting to try ever since I got into Korean skincare. The ingredients of this serum are known for helping to calm sensitive skin. It gives concentrated care for irritated skin. Cica serum is a plant-based serum that consists of highly concentrated 76% of CICA-7 Complex which improves skin concern, decreases redness, and assists to reconstruct the healthier foundation of the skin barrier.

I had heard such great things about the CeraVe cleansers, so I am excited to give this one a try. Those who have combination /oily skin said that this worked wonders for them.  They also do a hydrating version for those who have dry skin.  It has some amazing elements including Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid. This might be one of the most budget-friendly foaming cleansers that does what it's supposed to.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10%

The Ordinary is one brand that most people adore. I heard that Niacinamide is one of the few ingredients that most people could profit from in their skincare routine. I am really curious to try it! Some of its benefits of this product are anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial qualities.  It is suitable for acne, and blemish-prone skin. It is supposed to reduce the overproduction of sebum which makes it perfect for oily and combination skin types.  It fades hyperpigmentation and dark patches. Has calming and hydrating features and can help to minimize enlarged pores.  I saw a review saying that using this as a serum in the evening has reduced the impression of textured skin.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

This water gel is supposed to help get rid of dry skin with its water-gel and hyaluronic acid formula. On the Ulta Beauty website, it says "This is an oil-free face lotion that quenches dry skin to keep it looking smooth, supple, and hydrated day after day. The unique water gel formula absorbs quickly like a gel but has the long-lasting, intense moisturizing power of a cream. This daily gel moisturizer is formulated with hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the skin. Hyaluronic acid, a hydrator found naturally in the skin, attracts moisture and locks it in. The non-comedogenic gel facial moisturizer can be worn under makeup and leaves your skin more supple and smooth. Add this hyaluronic acid moisturizer to your at-home hydrating self-care routine."
