Easter Activities

Easter is here and I couldn't be any happier. I'm going on my Spring breaks this Thursday and I'm so excited to be home for more than just two days. I already have some things planned and wanted to share them with you.

CREATIVE EASTER EGGS

It's the easiest to just buy a egg paint and that's it. I'm sure you can be a little bit more creative and just try out new ways you can decorate your Easter eggs. Last year I did a marble effect using nail polishes but this year I want to focus more on using natural ingredients and do them with onion peel and red cabbage.

UNDERSTAND REAL MEANING OF EASTER

I am a Catholic and to me there is more to Easter than Easter bunny and Easter egg hunting. Even if you are not a religious person I still find that it's important to know why we celebrate it. Faith is a big part of my life and celebrating Easter with thoughtfulness and understanding what it's actually about is very important. It has such a big meaning behind which can nowadays be easily neglected and overlooked.

GO OUTSIDE

Easter holidays is the perfect opportunity to spend as much time outside as you can. I absolutely love nature and Spring as everything is so colorful and beautiful. I find days before Easter to be quite relaxing. I like to go for a long walk and just be thoughtful and practice mindfulness.

VISIT FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Spending time with family and friends is always important but especially over the holidays. It really makes those happy times even better. I like to visit my grandmother and grandfather and just talk to them. Another thing I enjoy to do is bake a cake for my family and friends. Eating together is really something that brings us all over the table and gives that warm felling.

Do you celebrate Easter?
