4 Self Care Activities

Taking care of your body and mind is so important, nowadays maybe more than ever before. Knowing when it's time to step back and actually take care firstly for yourself can be quite hard. We tend to exhaust ourselves and forget that we actually need to relax and take some me time. 

BAKE 
Even if you think that you are not a good baker or that you are and excellent one, just go to your kitchen, pick a new recipe and start baking. I find that baking helps me relax. It's a great way to be creative and take some me time. 

VOLUNTEER
Volunteering is something we all should do as helping others is so important. This is actually something I'm going to do this year. I applied for volunteering in the nursing home where I would hang out with elderly and helping in library. I'm really excited and I definitely think that I'm going to learn so much from it. 





COLOR
Another fun thing you could do. Coloring and drawing brings me back to when I was a little girl. I would go in my own world and let my imagination go. I don't think that as and adults we should let go of our imagination. At the moment adult color books are so popular and I totally understand way. 

REFLECT 
We can easy neglect amazing things that we accomplished and focus only on our failures. Taking time to reflect and think about all the things that we  did amazing and also about things that we could fix and be better as is very important. It gives you the opportunity to grow and learn from your mistakes.
