Are you more of a lip tint or a lipstick kind of girl?

These days, I gravitate towards lip tints. I don't do a very heavy makeup look, so I like to add a little bit of color with a lip tint. Lip stains are so easy to apply, and you can build them up or down depending on your mood and occasion. In today's post, I will introduce you to a tint or stain liquid lipstick by the Korean makeup brand called Peripera. The one I have is from the Ink Velvet Range.

There are more than 13 different shades you can choose from the Peripera Ink the Velvet tint range. The package is small and has a velvety feel to it. It is neat, sophisticated, and pleasant on the eyes. A great thing is that you don't have to open the product to check the color since they have it on the packaging itself. But be careful, as some shades can slightly differ from the case color. The color also changes as you apply multiple layers. It has a smaller, sharp triangle-shaped applicator, which makes it easy to apply the product to the lips.

I'm currently using the Velvet Ink 1, the original Peripera tint. It is a brick burgundy shade. It has a warm undertone, which makes it a perfect shade for the cold season. This shade is great for creating full-on lip looks. It has a creamy, vivid, thick, and velvety texture. The pigmentation is amazing and it allows the color to show even if you apply it just once. The original velvet texture lets you feel the moisture and fluffiness the more you apply it.

As much as the color is nice, the stain is also very pretty. Because it is velvety, it feels heavier than some other lip tints. Replying several times and smudging it with your fingers after you apply it will make it last longer and prevent it from looking messy. This way, it will also prevent it from getting off. Once it dries down it has the powder matt finish. It doesn't feel sticky at all which is something a lot of other lip tints feel like. It is transfer-proof, but not as much as the Etude House Fixing Tint.

Velvet Ink 1 is very comfortable to wear and doesn't have that dry feeling that some lip tints have. It is a highly pigmented lip tint that has a lightweight formula with a velvety finish. It lasts all day as it stains your lips. It can be used both as a lip tint and as a blush. You can add more layers if you want to make it darker.

This lip tint is amazing for creating lip combos with ombre effects. You can apply a thin layer all over and then build up the intensity right in the middle and tap to blend everything nicely and get a transition.
