Let’s Do It Together: 7 Days of Journaling

Friday, April 26, 2019

I’m sure that you all heard so many people talking about journaling. Maybe you are one of those who absolutely love to do it. There are so many people who are absolutely amazing at it. Well, few months ago I started doing it myself but somehow just felt a bit overwhelmed with the whole concept and had ups and downs with it. I think that I put too much pressure on myself and I tried to do it like everybody else. If you are the same and find journaling interesting but just never actually prioritized it or felt like you are just not for that, then you are on the right place. Why don’t we just do it together?

Doing it with the group of people that have a same mission might make it much easier for all of us. As I know how overwhelming it can be to set a goals that are too pretentious and unrealistic I think that it would be the best if we started with a 7 days of journaling. You don’t need anything special, just grab a notebook and start writing. You can do it in the morning, on your break or before you go to bed. It’s all up to you but choose the time that you know you’ll be able to stick with.

I made a sheet with some questions that you can use as a guideline. I like to use it as on some days I just don't know what to write about and this sheets comes in pretty handy. If you need some extra help then be sure to download it.

There are no strict rules, start writing about anything that crosses your mind or choose a specific feeling or situation. You don’t need to censor yourself and try to make it a piece of art…of course if you want to you can. I think that it would be fun to do it similar to a Morning Pages. Morning Pages are three pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing, ideally done first thing in the morning.

We are going to start on the Monday 29th of April until the Sunday 5th of May.  Each day I’ll leave a comment underneath this post so we can exchange our thoughts and help each other if we start to struggle with it. I really want this to be an engaging community and I would really appreciate your participation.

What do you think about this idea?
