Some books get more attention online than others. One such book is Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber. After taking some time to search for the right book I decided that this is going to be the first fantasy book I decided to pick up as an adult. This book took 2023 by storm so you can imagine my expectations being very high and here are my honest thoughts. It is a part of the trilogy but will I keep on reading all of the books?

While we might not have been diagnosed with anxiety by a professional, I’m sure we all experienced some of the symptoms. We live in a time where we are constantly overwhelmed by different information. It is easy to feel overstimulated and restless. This is one of those books whose cover makes you think that it will be a fun little summer read full of cringe romance scenes and fluff but it’s everything but that. I read Book Lovers and Happy Place and thought that Beach Read would be similar but I was completely wrong. I heard a lot of people giving this book 5 stars and now that I’ve read it I can see why. Here is my spoiler-free review for those who want to know a little bit about this viral book before they dive into it.
