Today, I'm bringing you another Korean skincare review. I've been testing a lot of different skincare products and some of them I was iffy about but some impressed me. Keep on reading to see in which category this
CosRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser goes. COSRX is actually one of my favorite Korean skincare brands I've been using for a long time now.

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Cleansing Gel Review

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Cleansing Gel is a gentle cleanser that is perfect for your morning facial routine. It is pH-balanced to avoid drying out the skin and contains purifying botanicals and mild acids for gentle cleansing. With a skin-friendly pH of 5, it's also designed to remove makeup and oil-based residue. It has a pH of 5.5 when undiluted and 6.5 when in contact with water (source), making it suitable for maintaining the skin's acidic layer.

It's ideal for sensitive and dry skin, but it works well on all skin types. Despite the fact that it claims to be fragrance-free, at first I could smell some artificial fragrances that I disliked. After some research, I discovered that the smell is actually the tea tree. Tea tree oil is in the middle of the list of ingredients, along with some plant extracts such as evening primrose leaf extract and ferments. The only criticism I have for this cleanser is its scent. Fortunately, the fragrance is not overpowering. Of course, there are other advantages to this cleanser, so I will continue to use it.

How to use it

In the morning, I gently massage a small amount of this cleansing gel onto wet skin. I use lukewarm water to rinse. I pat dry my face before proceeding with the next skincare steps. In a nightly skincare routine, it can be used as the second step in a double cleansing method. There is 150ml of this product which is quite a lot. It should last a long time as you don't need to use it much each time you use it.

Overall

While I still include it in my skincare routine, I must say that this is not my favorite cleanser. It does the job but I think that you can find better cleansers for the price. Facetheory Vitamin C Cream Cleanser C1 is a great option. This cleanser has a citrus scent but I don't find it irritating at all.
