The Last Time You Got Lost In the Moment

Thursday, February 21, 2019

Do you remember? Do you remember that day when you didn’t think about anything else but the place, people and situation you were in? If you can easily recall that moment then good for you but let’s be completely honest, most of us have quite a hard time remembering. It’s something that became very much normal. It’s like we just live life in some kind of "cloudy state". Things happen to us but it’s like they aren’t actually happening to us in that exact moment. We are going through moments after they are already over. For most of the times we only remember them through photos and videos instead of remembering them from the emotions and feelings we felt in that exact second.

Gaining More While Shopping Less

Monday, February 18, 2019

We live in a consumer society that each day works on new ways to make you buy more. Wherever you go you can see advertisements of so many different products. They are so well made that make you unconsciously want to buy it, although you know that you don’t necessary need it. Shopping is now promoted as something fun and a way to release all of your stress and worries. This view on shopping is harming us and the environment we live in. It’s easy to get lost in the latest products that look good and it seems like a perfectly reasonable idea to own them when in fact you probably want to buy them just because of the way they look and not because you really need them. So then how to resist the urge to shop???

Thursday, February 14, 2019

We all have those days when we just don’t feel like hanging out with big group of people at noisy places. For some those kind of places may be clubs and for some family reunions. All we want is to just be quite and pray that nobody will come to talk with us. On other times we don’t want to be social but don’t want to be alone as well. Well, I've had quite a few of those kind of moments. I'm going to share with you few ways that might help you to be at least just a little bit more sociable.

Well, sometimes we can even feel strange if we don’t feel homesick. We all need certain time to adapt to new situations. Sometimes we can feel guilty if we get used to new situation fast and we tend to not feel that homesick anymore. It’s a feeling that can make us feel uncertain. Here are some of the reasons that you’re not feeling homesick anymore and it’s completely okay.

Study Smarter Not Harder With This Study Technique

Saturday, January 12, 2019

If you are a university student or you were one then I’m sure that you all know how stressful some days can be. Student life definitely has its advantages but that period of time when all the exams come at once is definitely not one of them. There are a lot of different techniques for studying that I’m sure you already tried yourself. I’ve been there myself and realized that a lot of them just don’t work for me. Then, one day I stumbled upon one that completely changed my study game.

6 Things you need to do on Your Day Off

Wednesday, January 9, 2019

Those days when you’re off work or free from any university obligations might be rare but they are precious. Wasting those kinds of days doing absolutely nothing may not be the best idea. There is nothing worse than realizing that you’ve done absolutely nothing meaningful for the whole day and regretting it. Keep reading if you want to know which 6 things I think you should definitely do on your day off.

Signs you’re Independent, Give Yourself Some Credit!

Thursday, November 8, 2018

Do you think you're independent? I'm sure that most of you just like me never even thought about that. Independence is something that comes in different stages and situations in life and most of the time we don't think about it. It's easy to bring yourself down when you do something wrong but we never give ourselves credit for thing that we do right as small or big as they can be.

Is What You’re Doing Now Going to Help Your Future Self?

Thursday, October 18, 2018

How often do you think about your future? It’s easy to think about it as something that is so far away and we have a lot of time until it comes. We usually daydream about it and don’t actually think too much in details as it’s something so abstract in our mind. If you think about it in a different way, you now were just a future to you 5 or 10 years ago. Take some time and try to remember where you wished to be when you were 5 years younger and if you’re really there now.

Are you afraid of a change? Reasons Why You Shouldn't be

Thursday, September 20, 2018

There isn’t a single day that we don’t change in one way or another. Like the nature change with every season so do we with different situations and people in our life. There are the little changes that we don’t even realize happened. Sometimes even a thought of a change scare us and we get nervous even thinking about it. We live a life in which we follow a certain routine and everything that stands in a way of that routine we feel afraid of and uneasy. Most of people look at change as something risky and uncomfortable when in fact it can be the best thing that can happen to you.

Easy Ways To Personalize Your Dorm Room

Monday, September 17, 2018 Zagreb, Hrvatska

Being a student for most of us means leaving our home and living on our own for the first time. While some may have that opportunity to live in an apartment, for some their little dorm rooms become their entire home. Living in a dorm room with a roommate that you might or might not know has its advantages and disadvantages. Dorm rooms usually aren’t anything special and when you know that you’ll be spending most of your time there it’s important to make it as cozy and warm as you can. That small little room is now your home for a long time and feeling like it is not yours is what makes living away from home even harder.

Get Out Of Reading Slump Right Now

Monday, September 10, 2018

There is nothing worse that can happen to a book lover then getting into a reading slump. It’s so frustrating when it happens, especially if you don’t know how to get out of it. It’s even more annoying when you have a lot of books waiting for you on your bookshelf. I’ve been, in what seemed like a longest reading slump ever, and I couldn’t be happier when I finally got out of it. I decided to share with you some of the things that helped me and will hopefully help you to start reading again.

5 Things You Should Let Go Of

Saturday, September 1, 2018

Emotions and thoughts have a big impact on our well being but also on our life in general. Sometimes those emotions are controlling our lives and are hard to distinguish. It’s so easy to get caught in bad relationships, situations and thoughts without even noticing. Realizing the importance of letting go and not feeling guilty is the step toward the happier life. There are a lot of things you should let go of but in my opinion these 5 might be among the most important ones.

You Had a Bad Day? Make Yourself Feel Better Right Now!

Thursday, August 23, 2018

It’s so easy to get stuck in that negative and bad feeling because of the situation or person that triggered it and then end up having a bad day or even a week. Our emotions have a huge impact on our everyday life and dealing with good ones is much easier than bad ones. The encouraging but also aggravating thing is that we are the ones that can either control it or let it control us. Nobody likes to feel low although sometimes it feels easier to just surrender to that feeling. Doing just the simplest things can get you back to your usual self and help you feel amazing again.

Ways I Started My Minimalist Journey & How You Can Too

Monday, August 20, 2018

Minimalism is always something I’ve been interested in. I’m not a big materialistic person and saying that I know how hard it is to stay away from material things in today’s world. Most of the times we misunderstand what minimalist lifestyle is really about and end up before even trying to understand it and then incorporate it in our lives.

Minimalist life is about becoming more with less, connecting with the things that really matter and focus less on material things. It’s not something you can do overnight. It takes determination, time and patience which is something that most of the time we don’t have a lot of. I wanted to share with you some ways that I started my journey towards minimalist lifestyle.

When Everything around You Feels Great but You Don't

Monday, August 13, 2018

I really can’t put my finger on what’s gone wrong this last week. I’ve seen so many people off line and on line talking how they just don’t feel like themselves last few weeks. This whole thing feels like even bigger mystery as nothing bad around them happened and they haven’t had big changes in their lives. This weird feeling that floats over you is that I hate the most. Especially when I’ve been in such a positive and productive mood until something I guess changed in my head. So what to do about it you may ask yourself? Well this is what I’m currently doing.

Body Confidence & Self Love- 3 Questions to Ask Yourself

Tuesday, August 7, 2018

I’m sure that you read a thousand articles and blog posts about body confidence and self love.  I also know that it all looks so good in theory but nobody mentions that it’s really hard in the practice. It’s easy to give advice and mean well, I did that myself as well,  but we are all at a different stages of our body confidence and self love journey which makes it hard to apply does advice's personally. Words are great for encouragement and motivation but the action is what makes the biggest change. I don’t want to just tell you to love your body as I’m sure that you want to but somehow you got lost along the way. I want you to ask yourself these questions and maybe they'll help you to get back on track again.

Are You Impatient? It's Affecting Your Life & You Don't Even Know It

Saturday, August 4, 2018

Something I noticed with myself and people around me is how impatient we are with even the little things we do in life. It’s like there is this bug in our brains telling us that we should get things right here and right now and if it doesn’t happen we feel annoyed and displeased. Who should we blame this for? Some say that it’s a millennial thing and that we can’t do anything about it while others say that it’s the bad environment we are put in. Knowing the reason is great for solving the problem but stopping at just that is pointless. We can find a reason and a cure for a disease but if we don’t actually start to use that cure it’s like it doesn’t even exists.

How to Stay True to Yourself [free printable]

Monday, July 30, 2018

We live in a world where at times we are asked or supposed to be something we are not. We can feel like we need to act, talk, feel and believe differently. It may be directly referred to you or you can feel this way because of the social media and the surrounding you are in. It’s not easy when the image of you who others think you should be and the real you are in conflict. This is definitely harder when you are a teenager and you are still not quite sure who the real you are. It’s easy to get influenced by the wrong people. So how to stay true to yourself?

Dealing With Motion Sickness As An Adult

Wednesday, July 18, 2018

Motion sickness is something that I'm sure a lot of you know about. It's a condition in which there is a disagreement between visually perceived movement and the vestibule system's sense of movement. To put is simply it’s a conflict between your senses and the brain who can’t take in all those different signals. It is something that is so rarely talked about and I personally thought that there aren’t a lot of adults who suffer from it. It’s commonly connected with little children and pregnant women but it's very common among adults as well.
